I’m originally from Toronto, Canada so I’ve had my fair share of infamous Montreal & New York bagels. Since moving to Houston, Bagel Bob is the only place that has absolutely impressed me!!! His bagels are unreal - and with so many bagel & cream cheese options I’m excited to try them all!! Although that will take some time because I keep going back to the BLT on an everything bagel with chive cream cheese (paired with the freshly squeezed orange juice… the perfect duo)! I also love that despite the immense amount of success his business has achieved, Bob is still so involved. Every time I’ve gone, he’s there wiping down tables or taking orders or chatting with guests. It’s so amazing to see that type of work ethic and passion in a busy city. I highly highly recommend you try the food for yourself

Great bagels. Fresh, chewy the way I like them. Lox and bagel was great sandwich. Egg and cheese also tasty. Great value and super friendly staff. If your looking for authentic east coast bagels in Houston this is the spot. Oh and they sell ala carte bagels by the piece or dozen. And a single is only $2.

Nut allergy friendly: No issues here, I think all the bagels are safe. Time to Order: Six minutes after I ordered, but there was quite a line (10+) people after I left! So be prepared for a 20+ minute wait. I arrived around 10:15 on a Sunday. Parking is easy, tons in the strip mall. Ordered a Lox bagel on everything, fully loaded, and the bread pudding to go. The lox bagel is definitely the best I've had in Houston. I love lox bagels when I go to NYC and while this isn't quite there with being fully loaded (I think they're missing capers? Maybe forgot?) it's the best in the area, for sure. The bagel is chewy and flavorful and their cream cheese is excellent too. The bread pudding is a hidden gem. Amazing value, extremely sharable. Huge portions. Texture is great - soft on the bottom, not too sweet either. It's very filling. I will definitely be back!

As a native of NJ, who knows good bagels, I will say that you won’t find a better bagel in Houston than at bagelbobs. My husband and I have been coming here for a while now and I felt the need to write a review today. They finally got Egg Everything bagels in the lineup, which is VERY exciting. We both got a Jersey Special on an Egg Everything bagel with salt, pepper, ketchup.. and it did not disappoint! The pork roll is the greatest breakfast meat of all time, you won’t regret ordering a Jersey Special. My one suggestion would be to put the everything seasoning on only the top of the bagel, when it is on both sides it’s a bit overpowering. Thank you bagelbobs for bringing a little bit of home to Houston.

So good! Bagel is so chewy and pillowy soft. The size is just right. Some places make their bagel on the larger size so those are a little too thick for my preference. If you are lucky enough you may be able to get the $1 deal for the yesterday bagels and pastries (bagels in a bag of 4). Their drip coffee is very good too. The beans are definitely higher quality. Pleasant staff, clean place. I fully understand why this place is so popular. Can’t wait to be back.
